Really interesting concept in general. Love the idea of something in current society being expanded into the extreme. (Also love Emma Watson so I’m most definitely going to watch this movie)
The writing style for the theft of the kayak is very “flow of thought” styled. Everything that Mae experiences is explained at the beginning as it’s happening in her brain. Then, it’s condensed when she talks with Dan, then again with Eamon, and finally when she’s on stage. It reminds me of how we can condense an experience into a post with a very short caption.
“Privacy is theft”
The idea that everybody should have access to anything that you experience. In one way, I really think that’s practical; however, one of the favorite parts of life for me is when you just realize that your experience is your own and belongs to nobody else.
“Secrets are lies”
I kind of see this. But also, secrets really don’t exist. Like it’s just information that hasn’t been released to public. It’s just information waiting to be learned.
